Early Education and Care
At the center of our work is teaching and learning. It is our way of providing children with a head start before entering government-sponsored schools. We deliver a curriculum focused on languages, math, and writing.
We provide a safe, clean, and vibrant place for children to flourish from the instruction of certified teachers (with experience in the Montessori discipline).

Nutrition and Clothing
Research has shown that nutrition is essential to effective learning and healthy growth. We provide two freshly prepared meals a day, six days a week. For some children, these meals may be their only dependable source of nutrition.
One of our great joys is to provide our students with a brand-new school uniform from time-to-time. The uniforms are a source for pride and become a tangible symbol of care and belonging to the Kilimanjaro Children’s Foundation.

Women and Families
As we seek ways to further support children, we acknowledge the importance of supporting and investing in strong families.
One area of focus is to introduce new programming centered around empowering women through micro-finance and skills training.
Women and Families
With a safe and dependable school environment for their young children, both parents are able to pursue work and/or care for the needs of their families.
Understanding that many women do not have the skills or training to work outside the home, programming is centered around empowering women through micro-finance and skills training.
